 Sand Creek High School is part of Falcon School District 49 located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The school was built in 1997 as part of a voter approved bond issue. In 2002, Sand Creek almost doubled in size with construction of additions including a new academic wing, wrestling room, a second auxiliary gym and a beautiful auditorium with state of the art theatre equipment.

Student Council
Sand Creek Student Council has been around since the school opened in 1997. Our Student Government is elected in by vote of the student body.
We have an Executive Board including Student Body president, Student Body Vice President, Senior Class President, Junior Class President, and Sophomore Class President. We also have two Class Representatives from each grade level.
Student Council is a dedicated group of students and is the governing student body of the school. StuCo organizes student activities throughout the year, as well as participating in community service and leadership activities.
All student Council members are required to maintain a 3.0 GPA and have 30 hours of community service. In addition, no Student Council member may have a disciplinary referral. All members must go to every event and assist with setup and cleanup. We believe all of our members are well rounded students, involved in other school activities other the StuCo.
Sand Creek Student Council has three annual and traditional events. Events we are known for are as the following: Mr. Sand Creek, Battle of the Bands, and The Talent Show.
